Modern parliamentary intelligence tools

VoxPolitica makes it easy to read and understand what MPs are saying in Parliament

Mission

Democracy should be transparent.

Parliament publishes everything - every speech, every vote, every written answer. But 'published' and 'accessible' aren't the same thing. If you want to know what your MP has actually said in the chamber over the past five years, the tools available to you today will give you a paginated list and a keyword search. That's it.

VoxPolitica exists to make parliamentary debates more transparent. We've built a modern platform on top of the Hansard record that lets constituents properly explore, track, and read what their MP has said in Parliament - searchable and filterable using modern machine learning and analytics techniques, and designed to work as well on your phone as it does on a laptop.

Alongside our public mission, there's a commercial one. Journalists, public affairs professionals, and policy researchers need to work with parliamentary data every day - and right now they're choosing between free tools that don't go deep enough and enterprise platforms priced for large organisations. VoxPolitica's professional tier is built for that gap: serious analytical capability at a price that makes sense for individuals and small teams.

What is VoxPolitica?

VoxPolitica is a UK parliamentary data platform built on top of Hansard - the official verbatim record of proceedings in the House of Commons. Every day, Parliament publishes what was said in the chamber. VoxPolitica ingests that record, structures it, and applies layers of automated analysis to make it meaningfully searchable.

Every contribution on VoxPolitica comes directly from the official Hansard API published by UK Parliament, and from the Parliament Members API for MP data. We don't transcribe, editorially curate, or modify what MPs say. The text you read on VoxPolitica is what Parliament published.

VoxPolitica's enrichment layers are tools for navigation and discovery, not authoritative judgements. For any conclusion that matters, the original contribution text - linked from every result on the platform - is the authoritative source. And for anything the platform doesn't provide, the full Hansard record is publicly available at hansard.parliament.uk.
